Hello, my name is Neil Brody Miller. I am a historian and on occasion a college professor of American and World History.  My peripatetic career in academia has led me to work on several occasions in the wine trade.  When I am not busy reminding students that the phrase “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness” is found in the Declaration of Independence and not the U.S. Constitution, my personal pursuit of happiness leads me to Finger Lakes wineries, and to seek out Central New York’s best local farmers, food producers and restaurants.

This blog is intended to share with readers my explorations and opinions of Finger Lakes wines and wineries and Central New York’s local food culture.
